The Boar's Head Resort is looking for Culinary Interns! We have openings for two Culinary Interns and one Pastry Intern.

The Culinary intern will rotate throughout the various restaurants at the Boar's Head. They will also rotate thorough stations in each kitchen to learn a la carte cooking, banquet preparation, displays, and dessert/bread making. The Culinary Intern will then spend their last two weeks at the venue of their choosing. Along with enhancing their cooking skills and broadening their culinary repertoire, the interns will also learn and execute 4 Diamond Service to customers including cooking in front of guests and handling guest feedback/criticism.

The Pastry intern will start their program with three days of stewarding in the hotel kitchen aside the Culinary Interns. Subsequently, the Pastry Intern will focus the remainder of their time with our Pastry Chef and team. The intern will hone their confectionary skills and work towards mastery of preparing wedding cakes, fresh pastries and breads and desserts. The intern will also work rotations on the pantry station in the Old Mill Room (fine dining) and will participate in 4 Diamond Service training with the Culinary Interns.

Each program schedule will be determined by the Executive Chef depeding on the school's program requirements, hotel needs, and student schedule.

Requirements:

You must be a Culinary student at an accredicted Culinary School working towards a degree/certification in order to qualify for the Internship Program.
