Boar's Head is seeking a full-time Line Cook. You will support our Culinary team in the daily planning and production of all meals served from the kitchen. The Line Cook is an integral part of the kitchen by prepping ingredients and assembling dishes according to Boar's Head recipes and specifications.

 Schedule:

  • 5 days per week 5:00 am 1:00 pm

 Requirements:

  • Maintain full working knowledge of menu and station readiness
  • Prepare food items using methods such as broiling, grilling, smoking, sauting and poaching
  • Maintain adequate knowledge of all stations to effectively work any location when assigned
  • Responsible for proper production of food items and working efficiently to achieve maximum productivity
  • Use working knowledge of all stations to place food orders in Chefs' absence based on pre-established par-levels
  • Comply at all times with the Boars Head standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
  • Enforce The Boar's Head standards for quality, presentation and consistency

 Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of large volume food preparation
  • Preferred at least 2 years culinary experience at a Four Diamond Restaurant/Hotel
  • Problem solving skills
  • Basic kitchen organizational skills
  • American Culinary Federation Certified Cook/Culinarian desired
  • State Food Handler Certification desired
